The bananas have been ordered, the medals are here, and we’re filling up the goodie bags. That means that it’s not long to go now before race day!
For those who have entered this year’s Adnams 10K run, Race Timing Systems will be sending out your number and entry pack next week. You can download the pre-race details as a pdf here, and there will be a copy available in your pack.
If you’re collecting sponsorship for your run, we’d be delighted if you would consider raising money for the Adnams Charity. Sponsorship forms can be downloaded here.
To keep you going on the day, just think of your finisher’s medal and goodie bag at the end – it’ll be worth it!
We’d love to see lots of support for our runners on the day, so why not come along to cheer everyone on. The race takes place on Sunday 18th November at 11am. The start is near The Harbour Inn, and the finish line is opposite The Red Lion on South Green. If you want to help out on the race day by becoming a marshall please contact Emma Hibbert on the email address below.
If you have any queries about the race, please contact Emma Hibbert via email at emma.hibbert@adnams.co.uk
Excellent to hear the news about the bananas, but I’d trade mine for another beer. Last year I travelled all the way over from Warwickshire for the race. This time, I’m flying in from Bangkok. Do I win a prize? (I won’t get one for my running).
It’s great to hear you like our race so much that you are willing to travel so far for it! The goody bags are a new design this year and full to the brim which should give you the incentive you need to get to the finish line.
